One day, an image came to me—a man redeemed by a monster. His own acts would have been monstrous, and the creature would be acting upon him in a life-giving way, begging the question, what makes a monster? What makes a redeemer? And in what unusual ways can something unforeseen break through and change us forever?

The Sword and The Sea is being produced in Eugene, Oregon. Our filming locations are scattered throughout the Oregon coast, our hometown, and its surrounding cities. We are blessed to capture the natural wonder and awe of this beautiful state.
